Based out of Duncan, B.C., the tight-knit team at Warmland Dental has worked closely together for over a decade under Principal Dentist, Dr. Tom Roozendaal. The thriving practice has seen tremendous success over the years, with an excellent reputation among patients and team members alike.
Practice Manager Mila Main believes Warmland Dental’s success to date is largely owed to a cohesive team environment and culture of care. “Our team works almost seamlessly from the front desk to the clinical operatories,” she says. “We all have the same goal: to have our patients refer their friends and families as a result of the excellent experience they had while in our care. This can only be accomplished by a team that is cohesive, supportive and aligned in philosophy. Each team member knows their role, fulfills it completely, but also helps others when needed.”
Mila further attributes the practice’s success to having a supportive team leader. “Dr. Roozendaal has led us all by example by always striving for excellence and by being a positive leader and communicator,” she says. “In turn, each and every person on our team also possesses these qualities. Our patients can feel this when they walk through the door.”
When asked what advice the Warmland Dental team has for other practices looking to grow, Mila emphasizes the importance of effective communication among all team members. “Communication is the key to growing a successful practice. Our entire team at Warmland Dental, from front to back, is excellent at communicating. Each and every team member here contributes to all aspects of our practice and this is why our team has been successful for so long.”
